Two numbers can be sufficient to gain a preliminary idea of your health condition. These are very easy to calculate and can be done at home. All you need is a tape and a weighing machine.

Body Mass Index (BMI): A measure of your body weight in proportion to height. In spite of having its limitations, it continues to remain one of the most reliable way to determine weight related problems. The BMI can be calculated by dividing your weight by the square of your height.

Waist to Hip Ratio (WHR): The name says it all. You can have a control on the shape of your body by maintaining your WHR within its limits. But the recommended stats are different for men and women.
